Dental Emergency

If you are in pain, that one of your teeth had a trauma or if your face is swollen, call us and we will do our best to see you as soon as possible.

In the meantime, here are some recommendations you should follow before seeing us:

    • If your child had an accident (broken tooth, displaced or dislodged tooth), keep it in a saline solution that can be find in any pharmacy and call us right away.
    • If you are having intermittent (that comes and goes) pain and sensitivity to hot and cold, please avoid extreme temperature. The water used should be at room temperature. If your health condition allows, you can take anti-inflammatory (such as Advil).
    • You have severe and continuous throbbing pain with a swollen face? You might have a tooth abscess. Please mention it to the secretary. A prescription of antibiotics could be required.
    • If you have lost one of your fillings and the tooth is sensitive to cold, air or hot, call us as soon as possible. Meanwhile you can fill in the gap with a sugar free chewing gum.
    • If you are one of our patients, please mention it to the secretary.
